BIOGRAPHY
Emily is an emerging young artist from the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire area.
She is an English lyric coloratura soprano and is currently training in opera singing.
She has performed with numerous choirs and choruses from a wide range of repertoire and in various languages from a multitude of conductors; such as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Karl Jenkin’s Armed Man, Handel’s Messiah and Edward Elgar’s Sea Pictures.
Her most recent project was working alongside composer Johnathan Dove in his opera “Uprising”, which was co-commissioned with Glyndebourne and accompanied by The Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Shortly after the “Uprising” project she was selected to sing in the chorus for Gustav Holst’s chamber opera Savitri directed by Dame Felicity Palmer and conducted by Susanna Stranders (Royal Opera House).
